Alegría Soy is committed to challenging the misconception that our community of Edmonds “lacks capacity”. Too often, external voices are prioritized over those with lived experience in Edmonds.

Despite the challenges we face, we know our impact is being recognized beyond our neighbourhood. Over the years, different organizations have invited us to share our work, valuing the leadership and cultural contributions we bring. These opportunities allow us to showcase the meaningful initiatives we are driving — both locally and throughout the region — proving that our community has the talent, knowledge and passion to lead the way.
